The 60 room mansion and 200 acre estate, is one of Scotland’s most expensive properties, comprising of six principal bedrooms, a 1,300sq ft ballroom and three kitchens. "Born This Way" is incredible says Troy Carter

There’s been a lot of buzz about Lady Gaga’s Born This Way, with Gaga herself opening up about the upcoming LP at a recent concert stop. And while there are still some details up in the air, like what it will sound like and when it will drop, one of the team’s main men shared a few more details about the full-length follow-up to Gaga’s smash debut, The Fame.
“We’re just starting to play music for the label,” Gaga’s manager and Coalition Media Group CEO Troy Carter said during an interview at the recent Billboard Touring Conference and Awards. “We’re very excited about it. We’re starting to play a little for people and getting a feel for it, and she’s done an incredible job, a really incredible job.”
Carter also talked about what the new album will mean for the business of Gaga, admitting he has no set strategy for it. “Well, you know what, it’s not where I go from a business standpoint, it’s more about where she goes creatively because, truth be told, we built the business around her creative infrastructure and that business that was built is unique to Lady Gaga,” he explained, not willing to reveal a release date. “We haven’t announced a date … nope … it’s coming soon.”
RedOne, who has worked with Gaga on smashes like “Bad Romance” and on the current album, believes that Born This Way will really step up the singer’s already stepped-up game. “I think it’s more of her freedom album. It’s like freedom, this album … it’s her album!” he explained to MTV News.
“To be honest with you, I think that this album that she’s making is too precious to talk about. When it comes out you’ll hear and you’ll make your choice. I think you’re gonna love it. But I think it’s too precious for me to talk about it. It’s crazy.”

Vote Lady GaGa as TIME’s 2010 Person of the Year

With only two albums under her belt, Lady Gaga has breathed much needed new life into pop music. The 24-year-old star has become an icon by combining dance numbers with performance art to create something that appeals to teenagers and critics alike. This year, she became the first artist to hit the 5 million mark in digital singles sales and the first celebrity to get more than 10 million fans on Facebook; her videos have been watched online more than 1 billion times. But Gaga's true influence lies in her ability to weave fashion, choreography, visual art and a wide variety of pop-based musical styles into one cohesive, compelling performance. She borrows heavily from predecessors such as David Bowie and Andy Warhol, dressing up otherwise common pop songs so that they seem unique. She has been called the next Madonna, but that title isn't really fair. Lady Gaga is not the next anybody. She's just herself, which is more than enough.

"The Fame" Demo – Low Quality

Lady Gaga sends hot chocolate to fans outside of her hotel

She's known for loving her fans whom she calls her 'little monsters', but today in Dublin Lady Gaga took it a step further and surprised a group of her followers with a sweet treat.
Sending her security guard outside her hotel to count heads, the singer then sent out hot chocolate to each person.
The thrilled fans were delightedly posing for pictures with their drinks, making 'monster' poses.
On tour in Europe for the past few weeks, Lady Gaga has been causing quite a stir with her trademark outrageous outfits, attracting plenty of attention from fans.
Another fan she ran into this week was David Furnish, Sir Elton John's husband.
Gaga was recording a duet with Sir Elton called Hello, Hello, which will feature in a new Disney film, Gnomeo and Juliet.
Tweeting a picture of herself with Furnish, the blonde star tweeted: 'The Union is the album he put out this week so I will celebrate the music w David, Elton, and wine.'
Gaga's career continues to go from strength to strength.
The star has set a new record for YouTube, having racked up more than one billion overall views of her material on the video-sharing website.
Tweeting to her seven million followers on Twitter this week, she said: 'We reached one billion views on YouTube little monsters!'

Lady Gaga & Elton John to release a duet

If you were watching Elton John on The View this morning, you might have heard him mention that he’s planning to release a duet with Lady Gaga. It’s something he’s alluded to before, but now EW can report exclusively that the track, called “Hello, Hello,” will appear in the upcoming Disney animated film Gnomeo & Juliet, which is being produced by Sir Elton and his partner, David Furnish.
The charming pop track plays during the moment where the two lead characters, lawn ornaments named Gnomeo (voiced by James McAvoy) and Juliet (Emily Blunt), meet for the first time. The film hits theaters on Feb. 11, 2011.

Cebu Pacific Flight Attendants 'Just Dance' to Gaga

This is so cute! How would you like to take THIS flight?

This video quickly went viral, logging more than 8 million views so far!
It shows attendants performing to Lady Gaga’s Just Dance and Katy Perry’s California Gurls — “chalking up one-and-a-half million hits in just over 36 hours,” according to the Daily Mail of London.

”Cebu Pacific has always been known as a fun airline,” Candice Iyog, the airline’s vice president for marketing and distribution, says in an interview with GMA News of the Philippines. “We were looking for something new and different, to show that flight safety doesn’t have to be boring.”

Lady Gaga Challenged to a (singing) Duel

Lady GaGa has been challenged to a nationally televised sing-off with a cash prize of at least $1 million for the winner. The challenger? Los Angeles-based artist Alisa Apps, an unsigned singer who has yet to release an album.

"I feel sorry for Lady GaGa - she's just a plastic doll generated by the music money marketing machine," Apps said. "I stand for the voice of your heart. Be real with me. Come to my world and feel. I want to hear you and for you to hear me. This contest gives people a chance to choose which they prefer - plastic or real."

But GaGa hasn't responded to the challenge. In fact, she's been busy preparing for the release of her next studio album "Born This Way", which is expected to arrive in early 2011. Though currently enjoying a well deserved vacation, her calender is filled with numerous stops for the Monster Ball Tour. Though Apps is indeed a good singer, it is safe to say that Gaga would blow her challenger away.

Because, while Apps sounds like this:

Let's not forget that Lady Gaga sounds like this:

...We think we know who the winner is! What are your thoughts?

Elton John talks about “Born This Way”

“I’d love to [work with her] in the future,” Elton John says in the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly. “She and I come from exactly the same place. She’s kind of like the bastard daughter of Elton John. I love her, and I love her ability to write. There’s a chance I might do one track with her, but she’s so busy and I’m so busy, we can never get together! But her record — it’s f—ing amazing. ‘Born This Way,’ which is the title song, will completely get rid of Gloria Gaynor’s ‘I Will Survive.’ This is the new ‘I Will Survive.’ That was the gay anthem. This is the new gay anthem. Actually, it’s not a gay anthem — it can apply to anybody.”

Justin Tranter talks about "Born This Way"

MTV Shows

Being the opening act on Lady Gaga’s never-ending Monster Ball Tour has afforded the gentlemen in Semi Precious Weapons some rather, uh, unique opportunities, the overwhelming majority of which we can’t print here.
But there are perks besides the debauchery too — like getting to hear Gaga’s ultra-anticipated new album Born This Way, which isn’t due until next year. And after some prodding, we got SPW frontman Justin Tranter to give us a few details about the album, which, from the sound of things, is shaping up to be quite an experience.
“It’s bold and it’s beautiful,” Tranter said. “Obviously, none of it’s done, so I can’t really speak on it, but the stuff she has played me is really, really beautiful and really, really bold.”
That echoes what Gaga herself said about the album earlier this year, when she promised that Born This Way would feature “a lot of hit records that will piss people off.” And she didn’t stop there either.
“This album is my absolute greatest work I’ve ever done, and I’m so excited about it,” she told RWD magazine. “The message, the melodies, the direction, the meaning, what it will mean to my fans and what it will mean in my own life — it’s utter liberation.”
And that sense of liberation stuck with Tranter too. Because based on what he’s heard, Born This Way is definitely going to set some people free.
“Gaga was so excited when she found out the title of our album, You Love You. She couldn’t believe it, because it fit so well into the idea of the Monster Ball and the ideas she’s exploring on this album,” he said. “Everything she says is that she really wants her new album to feel like freedom — that’s what she keeps saying over and over.”

Lady Gaga Makes List of 50 People Who Matter

Lady Gaga made it to #44 on the New Statesman's list of "People Who Matter in 2010," which recognizes individuals "with global influence and the power to change our world."

Gaga is the only singer selected for the list, where she sits alongside political leaders, business magnates and visionaries. The publication talks about her record breaking sales and digital achievements and her role as "champion and heroine" to millions who consider her "the ultimate self-professed freak."

The article notes, "While she is mainstream enough to sell huge quantities of records and duet with Beyoncé (on the nine-minute song 'Telephone,' whose video features prison bondage and lesbian kisses), she has established herself as an ambassador for the marginalized, the lonely, the misunderstood."
